Minimum Hiring Annual Salary:

$80,536.00

Maximum Hiring Annual Salary:

$84,562.80

To attain the maximum annual salary, employee must meet all minimum qualifications plus:

  • 5 (five) years of additional applicable work experience and/or degrees higher than minimum qualification degree. Degrees higher than the minimum qualification degree can be used in combination with additional work experience.

The stated salary amounts are not guaranteed in the event employment ends with Aims during any fiscal year.

Job Description:

The Executive Director of Corporate Solutions plans and directs the consulting, sales, grants, and corporate training programs for the college. They will establish and lead a team of learning professionals to develop innovative solutions to serve the college and communities of Northern Colorado. They will create and evolve a comprehensive multi-year plan for serving the Northern Colorado region in specialized and contracted training with a considered approach to supporting Sector Partnerships. The incumbent is involved in a full range of managerial and leadership duties including long and short-term program planning, budgeting, procurement, CFEI grants, establishing procedures and standards that govern the administration of the service delivery area programs. Work also includes working with advisory groups and regional stakeholders to set policy, direction, and priorities. The ED will coordinate and facilitate working relationships with various boards, governmental agencies, other service providers, the business community, employers and other educational institutions. Work involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, partner on solutions, track and measure impact. Work also involves leading and supervising staff, developing the vision and mission of the unit, communication, motivation, staff development, working with many units across the college, and related management and leadership activities. The ED will also establish needed dashboards, metrics, analysis of program effectiveness and recommended changes to program administration in an on-going manner. The ED implements best practices and innovative, creative strategies. Work is performed in accordance with state and federal guidelines and organizational policies and procedures. Work is performed under the general guidance of the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Program Design/Support:

  • Leads and participates in the development of the strategic plan, policy, vision, and mission and related program design for Northern Colorado regional workforce and economic development and training programs.
  • Works with boards, staff, and other related agencies in collaboratively planning and implementing service delivery.
  • Collects necessary data and client and partner input to conduct program evaluation and leads in program re-design to increase program effectiveness.

Supervision:

  • Performs all supervisory personnel related functions including recruitment and selection, performance coaching and evaluation, training, staff development, motivation, communication and building a shared vision.

Fiscal Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and participates in contract training and CFEI grant development and administration, budget development, procurement, and related fiscal monitoring and reporting; coordinates with agency fiscal staff as needed.
  • Serves as the Cost Center Manager over Corporate Solutions

Sales & Market Engagement Planning & Execution:

  • Works with a wide variety of community and governmental agencies, educational institutions, employers, businesses and other groups to identify comprehensive needs and strategies.
  • Conducts outreach; markets programs, promotes community education and awareness of Aims programming.
  • Promotes community education and awareness related to training and employment issues.

Outreach/Networking:

  • Provides leadership for the development and oversight of the Aims outreach system in the region.
  • Acts as liaison; in close collaboration with Satellite campus Executive Directors, to the Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Commissioners, and local elected officials.

Contract Support:

  • Manages the procurement processes for SpringCM Services Contracts.
  • Supervises and reviews the monitoring process that assures contract performance and regulatory compliance.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree, plus five (5) years of related work experience; such as, experience with coordinating programs for workforce development, corporate solutions training, course development and customization for sector industry partnerships, or other related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Of the required five (5) years of work experience mentioned above, four (4) years must be supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in a higher educational / training environment
  • Collaboration, engagement with workforce development and economic organizations/committees
  • Demonstration of ability to work with diverse groups of individuals
  • This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance
  • Experience leading high performing teams
  • Ability to work with any individuals from any level of an organization including C-suite level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in in Higher Education, Business Administration, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Organizational Design/Effectiveness or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience leading a corporate solutions team
  • Experience meeting or exceeding industry standards in the corporate solutions filed including revenue generation and customer satisfaction
