Position Summary/Description:


The Executive Assistant position will be responsible for multiple administrative functions. S/he will serve as a department resource for the Chair(s) and works in conjunction with this team to find solutions and/or helps coordinate appropriate follow up from the Department. Schedule various events at the request of the Chair or as part of the confidential duties of the Chair's office. Act as a liaison between the Chair's office and the Dean's office, other department chairs, human resource units, advancement office, etc. Serve as a liaison between the Chair(s), and human resources unit specifically relating to HR administrative paperwork for faculty. Work in conjunction with the School and/or Chair(s) for any special projects on behalf of the Chair(s) as requested and appropriate.

Education and Experience:


High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associate's degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience ; or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
