Job Description

The Electronic Warfare (EW) Radio Frequency (RF) Test and Analysis Researcher in the Test Engineering Division (TEN) will conduct research into testing of EW RF systems. This research involves the development of data analysis tools and pipelines to simulate and analyze complex RF test environments for Radars, Radar Warning Receivers (RWR) and Electronic Attack (EA) systems. These test tools incorporate EW engagement models, use of government and industry test standards, open standards definition and usage of automated test frameworks. 


Job Duties
  • Conduct RF signal recording and analysis
  • Execute signal synthesis and environment emulation
  • Evaluate RF output of EA systems
  • Develop automated RF testing pipelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Length of Experience

Research Engineer/Scientist

  • A Bachelor's degree in  Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related degree field.

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidates currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program relevant to this position will be considered.  Candidate must have a graduation date of no later than December.
  • Experience with RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers and signal generators
  • Experience with data analysis script development

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EW radar and EA system RF signals
  • RF system testing and automation integration experience
  • Experience with RF signal capture and analysis
  • Digital signal synthesis and processing experience
  • Hardware and software system debug, troubleshooting, and laboratory experience
  • Active SECRET clearance

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.


Clearance Type Required

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
