Job Summary:
The Events Management and Information Services Coordinator will support the
operational tasks related to events, transportation services, and the University Switchboard.
This is a full-time position, thirty-five hours per week, with full benefits and reports to the
Event & Conference Services Manager.
This shift includes days, nights and weekends. There are also times when required to be
on campus for large university hosted events. This person must have flexible availability as the
work schedule for this position includes all shifts (days, evenings, and weekends)
Job Duties:
Working with Starrez Housing program: creating inquiries, registration sites for university
camps or conferences during the academic year and summer, along with reporting,
extracting existing building rooming lists, and creating rooming list templates for reunion,
summer camps and conferences. 20%
Manage content for office social media platform(s). 10%
Support the Event & Conference Services Manager with scheduling non-university
events and often being on-site for those scheduled events. 30%
Assists with operational tasks related to events, transportation services, and the
University Switchboard. 25%
Communicate with Elaine Langone Center custodians or radio other Facility employees
when appropriate and is responsible for being in the constant state of readiness to
facilitate an emergency situation. 10%
Serves as one of 2 University Notaries. 5%
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
Marketing experience with the ability to navigate through multiple social media platforms.
Proficiency with computer systems and standard office equipment.
Within the first six months of employment, this member will become a Notary Public.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of experience in providing outstanding customer service in and
office environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, orderly and methodical working style,
proficient follow through and follow up skills, with a positive personality who is proactive.
The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, adjust priorities in a very fast paced
environment, and work independently.
Valid US driver's license
Preferred qualifications:
Previous receptionist experience.
Scheduling experience.
Physical Demands:
Office environment, ability to make quick, thoughtful decisions in stressful or emergency
situations.

Salary Range:
17.00-20.00
The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
