Hours may vary ( 12pm – 7pm )

Some Saturdays 9:30am – 2:30pm

The Evening & Saturday Supervisor oversees the Tutoring Center, Writing Center, and Math & Science

Walk-In Center in the evenings and on Saturdays and is responsible for managing, organizing, and
processing the center’s timesheet process

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision for the Tutoring Center, Writing Center, and Math & Science Walk-In Center during the evenings and on Saturdays.
  • Oversee the timesheet process for Tutoring Center, Writing Center, Math & Science Walk-In Center and Meadowlands Campus by distributing, correcting, processing, and recording.
  • Keep detailed spreadsheet of payroll budget expenditures, including tracking spending for grants
    (e.g. CCOG, EOF)
  • Assist with the recruiting, hiring, training, and supervision of peer and professional tutors under the direction of the CLAC Manager
  • Provide policies and procedures training for new tutors as part of their onboarding process
  • Respond to student study group requests
  • Assist with maintaining and updating tutor schedules in TutorTrac
  • Create, post, and update flyers for study groups and workshops
  • Create the study room schedules
  • Review tutor sign-in/sign-out logs for accuracy
  • Provide TutorTrac reports as needed
  • Assist with semester and annual CLAC reports

Qualifications:
  •  Must hold an Associate’s Degree or higher
  • Must be computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Suite
  • Good communication skills with students, faculty, and staff required
  •  Good organizational, record-keeping, data processing, and time management capabilities
    preferred
  • Experience generating statistical reports preferred
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations preferred
