| Essential Job Duties | Positions: The Global Training Initiative (GTI) at NC State University is now accepting applications for 6 or more positions of part-time temporary ESL/EFL Teachers. About the Program/Hiring Department: The GTI develops and enhances international partnerships among NC State faculty and students, North Carolina businesses and government agencies, and various organizations and agencies throughout North Carolina and around the world through international programs and cross-cultural training experiences. http://gti.ncsu.edu About the Current Course: The primary course is 10-14 weeks online for secondary and post-secondary teachers in Colombia that focuses on beginning to mid-level EFL, vocabulary and pronunciation, technical/trades vocabulary, sentence patterning and simple dialogs. Essential Job Duties: Instructors will provide online instruction several times each week using Zoom. Teachers will also help develop curriculum including vocabulary lists, simple dialogues, question and answer exercises, games and puzzles. Most of the hired teachers may also be sent to Colombia for 1 or 2 weeks to give face to face instruction. |
