Essential Functions

  • Log equipment checked in and out by students.
  • Check equipment for proper operation and missing parts.
  • Charge batteries and put back into inventory.
  • Monitor reservations to prepare equipment for check out/in.
  • Clean and organize equipment, batteries, and cables when returned.
  • Keep area clean and organized.
  • Help engineers and instructors when needed.
  • Perform inventory verification checks.
  • Clearly communicate with students requiring assistance with equipment issues.
  • Other equipment room duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Audio Recording Equipment Operation.
  • Knowledge of Video Camera Recorder Operation.
  • MDIA/Journalism Major or Minor is a Plus.
  • Speak Fluent English.
