Administrator Level This position is an Administrator I in the California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP), reporting to the EOS Center Executive Director.

Work Schedule Monday through Friday; from 8:00am to 5:00pm
Anticipated Hiring Range $6,250 to $7,084 per month ($75,000 to $85,008 Annually)
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Position Summary The Estuary & Ocean Science Center (EOS Center) Financial and Operations Manager works under general direction of the EOS Center Executive Director and is responsible for overall fiscal management of the Center and day-to-day supervision of administrative staff. The EOS Center has an annual budget of an approximately $5.5M including research, education and outreach programs and facilities and cost recovery centers including: scientific diving and boating operations, research vessel, various environmental analysis laboratories, a conference center, a guest house, and various training programs. The financial manager supervises administrative staff program leaders in developing and tracking annual program budgets and staff compliance with SF State fiscal policies and processes. The position serves as the financial liaison with the Romberg Tiburon Campus Facilities Operations Director (Facilities Services) to develop the budget for operation and maintenance of the Romberg Tiburon Campus and EOS Center Core Research and Instructional Facilities. This position is part of the strategic leadership team for the EOS Center and contributes to strategic planning and implementation of the mission and vision of the EOS Center, within the context of the missions of the College of Science and Engineering (CoSE) and San Francisco State University (SF State).
