Description of Work:

Rural Prosperity Nebraska has the teams and the expertise to help communities overcome those challenges and expand on that culture. Our goal is to connect communities with the right teams, the right resources, and the right programs that will help communities thrive.
The Entrepreneurial Communities team partners with business owners to assess their needs, identify resources to help meet those needs, and make connections.
As an eCoach (Entrepreneurship Coach), you will:

• Lead a business outreach program that supports members of the business community.
• Identify businesses impacted by current economic or other challenges and in need of resource support to maintain continuity of business practices, system upgrades, employee training, and/or financial stability.
• Conduct an interview/assessment to research each business' challenges/issues, and then assist the businesses by connecting them to the resources they need to resolve their challenges.

This is a part-time, grant-funded position. This position can be located anywhere within 100 miles of the Butler County Extension office in David City, NE; and will serve clients in any county within the greater central Nebraska region.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant education beyond high school, plus four years of business experience including start up and/or small business; equivalent education/ experience considered.
• Experience with e-commerce strategies and knowledge of email marketing software and associated analytics.
• Knowledge of video and social media platforms for marketing purposes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentations.
• Proven knowledge of communications and marketing ethics and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred) and proven public speaking abilities are preferred but not required.

Posted Salary: $26.00/hr minimum
