Salary:

$5,186.75 - $8,298.80 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

This position will serve as a developer of enterprise system integrations and other software integrations and development projects for The Texas A&M University System. The position will work with the Workday Services, Enterprise Data Warehouse, FAMIS Services, other System Enterprise Applications teams, member IT departments, and other System administration teams to support the enterprise-wide financial accounting, HR/payroll, benefits, and related systems.

Responsibilities:

- Provide planning, design, development, execution, testing and implementation of integrations to meet project objectives and measures.

- Participate in technical process workshops and collaborate with other technical teams or functional business process teams as needed.

- Perform some or all of the following duties: Collaborate with team members to create technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements; Use vendor development environment and toolset to design and configure system and/or reports; Perform data mapping and conversion testing; Design and implement system integrations.

- Collaborate with project teams and/or users to assure the software systems meet critical business requirements and standardizes processes as much as possible.

- Keep Technical Team Lead and team members well informed of changes and project status.

- Assist users in completing user acceptance testing.

- Work with project team to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software.

- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Instruct junior technical team members in regard to patterns, techniques, and standards.

- Collaborate with change management teams on communications and training initiatives for successful adoption by stakeholders.

- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Three years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Experience with one or more of the following: data mapping and conversion, system integrations, ETL or testing protocols.

- Familiar with relational database concepts and client-server concepts.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

- Occasional work outside of normal office hours/weekends.

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Experience with Visual Studio and related tool set.
