The Enterprise Applications Engineer role utilizes research and analyzes projects associated with software, hardware, data management, communications, and networks is required. It requires skills including ability to integrate new technologies and strong written communication skills. It will provide opportunity to demonstrated professional knowledge/expertise in functional area(s) for the individual position (e.g. planning, analysis, programming, database administration, research/scientific subject matter specialty, communications, security, engineering).
Knowledge/expertise is commensurate with assigned level.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in implementing and administering enterprise applications such as Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.), Enterprise Service Management (TDX, Cherwell, etc.), Endpoint Management Systems (MECM, Jamf, etc.), and Scheduling & Space Management Systems (25Live). A minimum of one year enterprise level systems analysis, design and development experience focused on a Windows environment would strengthen a candidate.
Minimum Qualifications:
A candidate should hold a BS degree that relates to the discipline of Information Technologies or an acceptable combination of education and experience. No specific certifications are required.

Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 80, based on education and experience.
