Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree or two years of college or technical school and two years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade ND Wage Minimum $14.72/hr

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 1 or more years of experience.

Position Description

The University of Louisville Spinal Cord Injury Research program is looking for an Engineering Technician who will join our Engineering team with experience in the design and fabrication of research acquisition equipment. Applicant should have excellent communication, teamwork, and math skills to complete assigned projects. Primary focus will be development and maintenance of laboratory equipment as directed by the department supervisor. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different projects. Therefore, a devotion to collaborative problem solving and the creation of quality projects is essential. Ideal candidate will have experience working with rehabilitation equipment for those with spinal cord injuries.
