Employee Relations Department Assistant (3/4-time)

Brigham Young University is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a part-time Department Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being and success of our faculty and staff members while supporting the mission and values of BYU. What you'll do in this position: 

  • Support Employee Relations and Equal Opportunity Managers.
  • Coordinate background checks investigation process.
  • University unemployment insurance coordinator duties.
  • Managing department purchasing, travel, and budgets.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU. 
  • 2 or more years of related full-time or equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • 5 years of HR related full-time or equivalent experience.
