|About the College/Department|
Under the direction of the Superintendent and Executive Director, the incumbent will serve as the principal of the elementary school, ensuring an outstanding educational experience and a respectful, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and directing the day-to-day operational procedures and processes of the elementary school. Also, responsible for planning, developing, and implementing instructional goals and objectives, and procedures for evaluating program effectiveness, staff development and training. Will collaborate with the College of Education as appropriate; plan and conduct public and community relations programs. Will perform other related functions as directed.
A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution.
A minimum of one (1) year leadership experience and three (3) years of successful teaching experience in an elementary setting.
The applicant should also have an Instructional Leadership Certification-Principal, or its equivalent.
Experience with a laboratory school and a terminal degree are added advantages.
