Job Description:
  • Provide daily supervision of the campus and building to ensure student safety. Assist in overseeing students before, during, and after school hours. Support the redirection of student behaviors that may pose potential risks to student safety and campus security. Employ proactive strategies to address behavioral issues effectively.
  • Work closely with the elementary school principal, counselor, classroom teachers, and learning community leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving student behavior and academic performance. Maintain open and effective communication channels with students, families, faculty, staff, and administration to address behavior-related concerns and promote student achievement.
  • Lead the implementation of proactive positive behavior approaches within the elementary division to foster a supportive and conducive learning environment. Actively participate in the weekly elementary leadership team meetings, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing student behavior support initiatives. Take the lead in responding to behavior incidents on campus, ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented promptly and effectively.
  • Complete required data entry and reporting related to school safety and security, including discipline reports and SESIR reports, to track and monitor behavioral trends.
Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with K-5 supervision that includes strategizing as appropriate in maintaining a safe and respectful campus

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written communication.
