The student worker assists the staff in setting up events at the EKU Center for the Arts. Although duties may be general in nature, initiative, independent action and resourcefulness are expected. The student worker provides assistance in meeting the production needs of artists and presenters. Duties include, but are not limited to: hang/circuit/focus lights, hang borders/legs/drops, perform stage maintenance, undertake rigging projects, perform audio and video set-up and take down, operate lighting console and sound console, organize color media and templates, coil cable, take down equipment and clean up after performances, operate counterweight system, setup and takedown chairs and platforms, perform wardrobe preparation during load in and load out for performances.

Previous stage crew experience is helpful but not required.
