Physical Requirements | This position may require sitting and/or standing at a workstation for extended periods of time and performing repetitive motions such as typing. This position may also report to meetings at different locations both on campus and off campus; travel outside the local area for training; and work successfully with a team and independently. |
Shift | The expectation is primarily day shift Monday through Friday 8:am-5pm, however as an exempt-level position, additional hours will be required as needed to perform job duties. This position will also include on-call coverage that may include weekends and holidays. This position is hybrid and will require travel to affiliate healthcare facilities. |
Job Summary | Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Epic Community Connect Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for extending our electronic health record (EHR) system to affiliated healthcare providers through the Epic Community Connect program. You will play a pivotal role in system configuration, workflow design, documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of our EHR solution. Key Responsibilities: · Participate in the implementation of Epic Community Connect projects, including system build, configuration, and testing. · Collaborate with affiliated healthcare providers to understand their EHR needs and direct to Epic personalization solutions. · Ensure adherence to UK HealthCare standards and commitment to Epic best practices. · Design and optimize workflows to align with community partner requirements and industry best practices. · Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configuration, workflows, and project activities. · Participate in all phases of the EHR system development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, training, deployment, and support. · Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for EHR-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and user satisfaction. · Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project success. · Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to enhance system adoption and proficiency. · Stay updated with Epic Community Connect functionalities, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications: · Epic certification in relevant modules (e.g., Ambulatory, MyChart, Healthy Planet) preferred. · Proven experience in implementing and supporting Epic EHR systems, preferably within a Community Connect environment. · Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and EHR optimization. · Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. · Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. · Commitment to delivering high-quality service and support to end-users.
