JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Office of Professional Graduate Programs of The Smeal College of Business is in search of an administrative professional to provide support and manage operational activities for the Associate Dean for Professional Graduate Programs and Executive Education, to include high-level, confidential, and sensitive issues. Additionally, this position will provide administrative support to the Smeal portfolio of graduate certificates and professional master’s programs. Specific responsibilities include (but will not be limited to): managing daily office activities, arranging meetings and overseeing calendars for the Associate Dean, overseeing and managing office operations, coordinating complex and conflicting schedules, performing initial market research and benchmarking on new and existing professional graduate programs, tracking and managing budget timelines, working with the graduate school on program and course submissions and approvals, conducting competitive research and data analysis, acting as a liaison with units internal and external to the College, arranging travel, coordinating travel itineraries and reimbursements, managing special events and projects, processing confidential correspondence and reports, assembling briefing materials and disseminating follow-up items, etc.

Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus four years of related experience. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail required. Other required competencies include accurate and professional communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask priorities, exceptional phone and customer service skills, excellent interpersonal organizational skills, superior written and oral communication skills, and excellent grammar. Knowledge of University policies and procedures is preferred. Conscientious attention to detail is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. This is a hybrid position. Days required on campus will be coordinated in consultation with the associate dean.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$42,100.00 - $61,000.00
