Position Description:

As an Education Program Coordinator II in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, you will coordinate the Internal Medicine-Psychiatry Residency Program and assist in support of the Milwaukee Residency Program by scheduling events, assembling enrollment and education information, and following compliance guidelines.

Primary Functions

  • Independently execute institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, learner recruitment, interviews, orientation, schedules, and graduation).
  • Maintain proficiency in accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
  • Support the designated institutional official, Program Director, Program Manager, and other leaders on issues related to the requirements from accreditation agencies, national boards, and affiliates.
  • Serve as primary liaison with faculty, administration, other departments, affiliated institutions, and national organizations.
  • Work alongside the primary coordinators with the Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies to ensure appropriate tracking of resident time away, evaluation, attendance, etc.
  • Develop and maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s) and residents.
  • Provide information, support, and problem solving on a wide range of issues for leaders, faculty, staff, and residents.
  • Coordinate and oversee the yearly recruitment process of residents into programs.
  • Coordinate and distribute course/program evaluations, communicate with the Program Director on participant satisfaction metrics, analyze trends and discrepancies.
  • Create, input, and maintain tools and databases within the New Innovations system.
  • Become well-informed on ACGME and ABIM accreditation standards.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Required Experience: 3 years
