About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of PBS NC’s Education Event Specialist will be to coordinate, organize, and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders and partners to plan and execute educational events. As this position supports various events, the Education Event Specialist will serve intermittently to meet the needs of the department throughout the year. 

UNC System employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. 

Required Competencies
Position requires travel across North Carolina, evening, and weekend work.
