Position Summary Under general supervision, provides assistance in the development of Color Guard choreography and drills within the context of the UNM Marching Band. Provides advisement and support and/or prepares and conducts specified training in accordance with prescribed, standardized objectives and guidelines. Provides input into the development of specific training and/or technical assistance programs.

Conditions of Employment
  • Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have four years experience with marching bands

Must have at least two years experience directly with color guards

Must have experience with choreography, flags, rifle props
