Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

  • Preparing course plans and materials
  • Delivering courses
  • Monitoring progress/attendance
  • Advising students
  • Recording grades and submitting reports

Economics Instructor must have a MA Degree in Economics and 2 years of experience. This position will require teaching topics based on Microeconomic models-such as Basic Economic principles, Supply and Demand, Market Equilibrium, Elasticity of Demand, Supply and Applications, Analysis of Government Policies, Externality, Public Goods, Production Costs, Comparative Advantage, Trade Policies, Characteristics of Competitive, Monopoly, Monopolistic and Oligopoly Markets. In addition to, Macro- by presenting basic Economic concepts emphasizing the part the United States plays in a global economy. Foundations of Economic Theory are presented, using topics from television news and mass media. Topics introduced are GDP, National Income Accounting, United States fiscal policy, Monetary policy, Income distribution and Economic growth.

This is a part time position that requires day, evening, and weekend availability.
