Position Title Economics and Analytics - Instructor
Position Summary
The Dr. Robert K. Jabs School of Business invites applications for an Economics and Analytics instructor. Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence in teaching through the integration of the Christian faith and learning. A terminal degree in the field indicated is strongly preferred, although candidates with a master’s degree who are working toward a terminal degree may be considered.
Pay Range
The compensation for this appointment will range from $55,000 – $65,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in economics or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate successful teaching experience and have potential as a scholar. She or he will join a growth-oriented faculty and will be expected to maintain active scholarly work as well as help develop and offer academic and co-curricular activities for our growing business administration programs.
Teaching Responsibilities
The appointment may include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, statistics, quantitative analysis, and business analytics.
