Essential Job Duties
The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University is seeking an experienced field technician to assist Crew Leaders and a graduate student with research evaluating impacts of habitat selection and demography of Eastern wild turkey reproductive ecology across North Carolina’s Piedmont region. Primary responsibilities will include, radio-telemetry, habitat sampling and data recording. Candidates with experience including vegetation sampling and radio telemetry will be given preference, as will candidates with GIS coursework and experience. The position will begin in May and last through July.
