Posting Summary
Coordinate statewide professional learning in Early Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS)/Pyramid Model to include training, coaching, and technical assistance. Develop an overall work plan based on priorities established by the Vermont Agency of Education and Early Childhood organizations to scale up Early MTSS/Pyramid Model statewide. Provide virtual and on-site (local, regional, and statewide) consultation and technical assistance to schools and human service organizations. Design and develop written materials for dissemination to the field about best practices and other written documents or grant proposals, reports, and presentations. Provide supervision for coaches trained in Early MTSS/Pyramid Model Practices. Coordinate the content design and instruction for Early MTSS/Pyramid Model professional development. Serve as a representative of the Center on Disability and Community Inclusion (CDCI) and the University of Vermont (UVM) at local and national conferences and committee membership.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Master’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Education
3 years of relevant work experience in education
Knowledge of Early MTSS/Pyramid Model framework and practices
Desirable Qualifications
Educator license
Endorsement in early childhood education or special education
Experience working with the birth to grade 3 population
Project management experience
Knowledge of statewide early childhood organizations (i.e. Building Bright Futures, Northern Lights, etc.)
Experience working with state-level agencies (i.e. Agency of Education, Agency of Human Services, etc.)
Experience with Early MTSS/Pyramid Model tools such as the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT), Teaching Pyramid Infant–Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS), Vermont’s Early MTSS Systems Inventory, Benchmarks of Quality (BOQ), Behavior Incident Reports, Early MTSS Functional Behavior Assessment, etc.
Experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams), Google products (Google Drive, Docs, Forms, Sheets, etc.), Zoom, Redcap, Qualtrics, PIDS.

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Travel to and from worksites required, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
