The purpose of this position is to provide developmentally appropriate care and education (based on NAEYC and ODE standards) for infants and toddlers at the Bombeck Family Learning Center. This position works in a team setting, creates a positive climate and environment for the children, the families and the staff, participates in required professional development, and adheres to the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

Required credential(s) – Associate’s degree in ECE or anticipated graduation date in December 2018 with Associate’s degree in ECE.
Knowledge of NAEYC Code of Ethics
Knowledge of ODJFS rules and regulations
Knowledge of ODE Early Learning Content Standards/Infant and Toddler Developmental Standards
Ability to communicate in a positive manner with children, parents, and staff.
Ability to work productively and positively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years experience working with infant and toddlers.
Experience working in a 5-star rated early learning environment.
Experience working in a NAEYC accredited early learning environment.
