POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide developmentally appropriate care and education (based on NAEYC, ODE, ODJFS, and BFLC standards) for infants and toddlers at the Bombeck Family Learning Center. This position works in a team setting, creates a positive climate and environment for children, families and colleagues, plans and implements learning experiences and provides high quality care for children ages 6 weeks-3 years and adheres to the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

Working on completing or completed CDA Credential
Knowledge of ODJFS licensing regulations
Knowledge of the State of Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards (birth to Kindergarten entry)
Knowledge of Naeyc Code of Ethical Conduct
Ability to communicate in a positive manner with children, parents, and staff
Ability to work productively and positively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years experience working with children ages birth through age 3
Experience working in a 5 Star rated center
Experience working in a NAEYC accredited center
Knowledge of the ACCESS Curriculum

Mondays-Fridays
10:00am-6:00pm
