Nebraska Public Media is looking for an Early Childhood Education Associate who will work with birth-3rd grade: This position collaborates with early childhood education specialists to support statewide early childhood partnerships through planning, preparation, and implementation of events, and conference presentations. Supports the education department in bilingual (Spanish/English) outreach through translation and creation of bilingual education materials to be used in outreach and professional development activities.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Associates in early childhood education, education, or related field; equivalent education or experience will be considered. Bilingual in English and Spanish with ability to translate and create bilingual education materials, lead public facing events, and support statewide bilingual partnerships. Knowledge of principles, practices, method and techniques used in early childhood learning and family engagement. Familiarity with the use of technology and media in early learning environments. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children and adults from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Understanding of PBS KIDS resources and target audiences. Ability to travel; ability to represent Nebraska Public Media in the community.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors in early childhood education, education, or related field; equivalent education or experience will be considered.

Posted Salary $19.231/hr minimum
