Job Summary:

The Human Development Institute at the University of Kentucky is seeking to fill an Early Care and Education Coach position. Located in Louisville, KY and serving the Jefferson Region, this Health and Safety Coach position will provide technical assistance to licensed early care and education programs with child care regulatory compliance and license deficiencies. It will also collaborate with regional team and statewide network of ECE Coaches providing technical assistance to ECE providers in the areas of health and safety, quality, professional development, and training.
This position requires significant travel throughout Jefferson County for in-person meetings with child care providers and other community partners, as well as staff meetings. This position will work from a primary central office location and a secondary home office work space.
Child Care Aware of Kentucky is committed to ensuring families have access to safe, affordable, high-quality child care. Our goal is to improve child care quality by offering free technical assistance and training to child care providers and connecting the community to resources and educational materials which support high quality child care.
This position will advance the mission and strategic interests of the Human Development Institute (HDI) through research, education, and outreach.
