Job Description:

The Dual Enrollment & Early College Program Assistant is a hands-on professional with proven collaborative experience and a strong understanding of high school, higher education and other community systems and cultures. Reporting to the Director of High School Partnerships and Pathways in the Division of Academic Support and College Pathway Programs, The Dual Enrollment & Early College Program Assistant--working collaboratively with the High School Partnerships team and staff at partner high schools is responsible for the following activities in the Division:

  • Work collaboratively to facilitate aspects of the College's Dual Enrollment and Early College Program. Tasks may include conducting information sessions, orientation sessions, student advisement and retention activities, supporting program application, course registration, organizing college placement testing, and other tasks as required by relevant programmatic and student needs.
  • Assist in working with high school partners to organize on-site Dual Enrollment and Early College courses.
  • Assist in working with Academic Deans and Department Chairs at Bunker Hill Community College to recruit faculty for on-site Dual Enrollment courses.
  • Assisting in mentoring and advising of Dual Enrollment/Early College students.
  • Monitor dual enrollment email account and respond promptly to external inquiries from students, parents, and high school partners.
  • Assist with the development and management of a social media presence for dual enrollment and early college.
  • Assist with the management of dual enrollment and early college partnerships, operations at community partner/satellite sites, including community outreach and space management/scheduling, and data collection/reporting.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least three years related experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
  • CORI check required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working in high school, non-profit community-based organization and community college setting.
  • Experience developing and managing social media accounts in an educational setting.
  • Experience with data entry management and enrollment communication flow management.


Additional Information:

Salary Range: $45,559.00 - $47,439.00. Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
