The Domestic Violence Grant Manager will be Responsible for the Following Tasks: 

  • Manage a variety of projects to ensure financial, quality service and operational goals are achieved to Oklahoma Human Services, Child Support leadership ensuring appropriate and timely communications, developing project plans and milestones and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Oversee assigned project staff and/or functional and operational goals.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management and development of department staff utilizing development tools, such as performance evaluations and conducting performance management planning.
  • Aligns project outcomes to achieve financial, quality, and service goals.
  • Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department in community outreach efforts. Oversees the development and implementation of communication plans.
  • Monitors department timelines to ensure resources are available and applied appropriately to achieve desired performance goals in a timely manner.
  • Provides active tracking tools and risk management summaries for all projects designated by senior leadership. Summarizes individual projects progress and risks to senior leadership.
  • Effectively manages a variety of projects to ensure financial, quality, service, and operational goals are achieved.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management and development of department staff utilizing development tools, such as performance evaluations and conducting performance management planning.
  • Ensures that the department has the infrastructure and resources required to perform its role effectively and efficiently.

Provide Grant Management Functions:

  • Provide public and victim/survivor education and outreach.
  • Develop and implement responsive good cause protections for victims/survivors, subject to child support cooperation requirements.
  • Implement modified application, intake, establishment, and case management processes for parents affected by domestic violence.
  • Lead partnership collaborations and SAVES Demonstration Advisory Council
  • Implement specialized domestic violence triage teams.
  • Provide evaluation related data as required by the Child Support Contract monitor and the Office of Child Support Enforcement OCSE.
  • Maintain oversight and knowledge of the implementation of all projects.
  • Collect and manage grant data.
  • Oversee and conduct budget reconciliation.
  • Create and update management records.
  • Coordinate all research and evaluation related work for the SAVES Demonstration grant. Work closely with all grant personnel, partners, OCSE and the SAVES Center.
  • Coordinate all case management functions for the SAVEs Grant
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

This position requires a background check that involves a national search and fingerprint search to be eligible for employment. Results of the completed background check will be provided to the funding sponsor for their records.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, AND;

  • 60 months experience managing/leading multiple projects

Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 108 months of related experience.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of trends and developments in process innovation and project management
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage and lead projects
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to supervise

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Sit for prolonged periods.
  • Communicate effectively and listen.
  • Use of a computer. Manual dexterity.
  • Standard Office Environment.

Departmental Preferences:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Service, Human Relations, or Human Resources field 
  • Associate’s Degree in Crime Victim Services or other human services also acceptable with at least 48 months recent experience working in domestic violence advocacy.
  • Knowledge of resources and context of domestic violence population.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence management programs, grants, agencies and non-profit support.

Supervision:

  • 1 Lead Case Manager
