The Neuroscience Institute (NI) was launched to bring together faculty and students from across the University to conduct multi-disciplinary work to advance the state of brain science. The NI of Carnegie Mellon University seeks diverse, creative, and collaborative early-career applicants for its Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship Program.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate is to carry out advanced independent and/or directed research to achieve the objectives of the research project. The purpose of this Fellowship is to acquire the professional skills needed to pursue a career path of your choosing.
This program seeks to bring new perspectives and voices to our community; this is a one-year fellowship program with the opportunity to extend participation for an additional year upon successful completion of the first year and review.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
- In depth knowledge of a specialized field, process, or discipline and may involve organizing and implementing complex research plans, the development of methods of research, testing and data collection, analysis and evaluation, and writing reports which contain descriptive, analytical and evaluative content
