Required Qualifications

Required Education

Ph.D. or Ed.D in education or closely related field.

Required Work Experience

A combined total of at least five years of teaching experience in secondary/postsecondary settings; and at least three years of relevant education-related administrative experience. Qualified to teach courses offered by the department. Experience with budget management. Must demonstrate administrative and visionary leadership skills.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
Supervisory/management experience in an environment in which employees are covered by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement. Experience in working with diverse staff/student populations, distance learning, educational technology; experiences at a wide range of educational levels; familiarity with managing off-campus offerings; and experience in grant/contract procurement including writing and budgeting and student professional development.
