Position Summary

The Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Development (OED) plays a crucial role in driving Administration's vision of providing unparalleled service, innovation, and effectiveness to the campus community. The Director leads collaborative efforts with Administration and campus partners to strategically create a positive and high-performing work environment by identifying operational efficiencies, enriching organizational talent, and managing organizational change. This includes oversight of program design and planning, monitoring of operations, and oversight of program expenditures.

Qualifications
  • 1. Demonstrated knowledge and application of organizational development theories, philosophies, and methodologies. (Required)
  • 2. Demonstrated experience leading and managing implementation of organizational change initiatives. (Required)
  • 3. Effective oral communication skills to facilitate group interactions, provide feedback, make presentations, guide decision-making processes, and enhance overall collaboration. (Required)
  • 4. Strong writing skills to produce high-level plans, reports, proposals, and recommendations. (Required)
  • 5. Demonstrated experience and skill in working with senior leadership and the ability to manage challenging projects and processes. (Required)
  • 6. Demonstrated ability to plan and executive initiatives and programs within identified timelines and budgets. (Required)
  • 7. Demonstrated knowledge and application of continuous improvement principles and methodologies. (Required)
  • 8. Strong knowledge and competence in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including data collection and processing, measurement and evaluation, and business analytics. (Required)
  • 9. Strong analytical skills to develop strategies, credible solutions, and recommendations for actions. (Required)
  • 10. Demonstrated ability and success in managing an experienced group of professionals. (Required)
  • 11. Demonstrated knowledge and application of learning theory and organizational performance. (Required)
  • 12. Ability to development partnerships with a diverse group of organizational leaders and stakeholders in a collaborative work environment. (Required)

  • Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
  • PhD Hold an advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Org Development, Industrial-Org Psychology, or a related area with 10 - 15 yrs of progress related experience, or an equivalent combination of education & experience (Required) Or
