Reporting to the Director of Business and Data Management, the Director of Student Financial Aid and Support is part of the leadership team at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine.

The incumbent may supervise staff and provide direction and leadership for the day-to-day operations of the Student Financial Aid and Support services within the Office of Student Support (OSS).  Facilitates the overall administration of federal, state and institutional aid programs to ensure compliance with all regulations regarding the distribution of financial aid within LKSOM.  Oversees communications to students related to financial aid. The Director works closely with leadership to implement financial aid policies procedures and initiatives which support the goals and objectives of the office and the university. In addition, the Director provides support for all other student affairs events and activities, ensuring compliance with office budget, policies and procedures.  The incumbent collaborates with internal and external stakeholders when performing the roles and responsibilities of the position. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Master’s degree with at least 2-3 years' experience in a university financial aid office including experience using federal financial aid programs such as COD, CPS, NSLDS, FAA Access and PHEAA preferred. Experience using Ellucian Banner Financial Aid. Experience with supervising staff.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
