Provide support and assistance to the Head Coach and Director of Recruiting in managing the administrative and operational aspects of recruiting and football related events for the Oklahoma Football program in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Oklahoma Football. Supporting the Head Coach, Chief of Staff and Director of Football Operations in external opportunities and events for the Team and Donors.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and execute all football recruiting efforts, with primary focus on Official Visits, Unofficial Visits, Gameday Recruiting Programing, Junior Days and other Special Events as assigned
  • Market and brand the OU football program to recruits, high school coaches, and the public on a consistent basis
  • Evaluates the enhanced application of data analytics to the Football Recruiting Process
  • Oversee and collaborate with all football creative staff to ensure correspondence, including social media communications, phone calls, recruiting mailers, emails, questionnaires, etc. Celebrate the program’s vision
  • Oversee signee’s admission process with Compliance, University Admissions, Financial Aid (NLI, Financial Aid Agreement, etc.)
  • Oversee signee’s midyear and summer move-in day
  • Oversee signee’s initial eligibility with the NCAA Eligibility Center
  • Oversee in the coordination of Signing Day Event and Signing Day Show
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the budget for the recruiting department
  • Assist with the organization of the player/parent orientation meeting on move-in day
  • Assist with all on-campus recruiting activities during Brent Venables Football Camp
  • Supervise all Recruiting Operation students
  • Coordinate team events during the Off-Season, Spring, Fall Camp and Bowl
  • Assist Sooner Club and Sooner Sports Properties with external outreaches for the football program
  • Organize and execute all on-campus recruiting visits
  • Execute all football recruiting efforts, with primary focus on official visits, unofficial visits, gameday recruiting programming, junior days and other special events as assigned
 

Job Requirements

Required Education: A Bachelor’s degree, AND:  

  • 24 months of experience in related field

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months experience.

Department Preferences:

  • Master’s Degree in any specialization OR an equivalent combination of education and job-related experiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
