Description:

Position Summary
Responsible for the oversight of activities related to recruitment, enrollment and admissions to the various undergraduate programs in the College of Business Administration. Manage the daily operations of recruitment and enrollment including developing, implementing and assessing all recruitment programs, training and supervising admissions staff and preparing, analyzing and presenting statistical information.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess the recruiting strategy including direct management of operations.
  • Plan and execute strategies for promoting the College of Business Administration by conducting on-campus events, planning mock classes and representing the School at recruiting fairs and forums.
  • Prepare, maintain, analyze and interpret statistical data and reports regarding enrollment trends, tar- gets and opportunities, setting immediate priorities along with short and long-term goals.
  • Oversee all phases of admissions and records including enrollment planning and strategy, hiring, training and supervision of admissions staff and personnel. Serve as final authority on admissions related initiatives.
  • Cultivate new pipelines of prospective students.
  • Manage and expand recruitment relationships and partnerships.
  • Provide strategic management which includes determining and setting unit goals and priorities, budgetary and fiscal oversight, and identifying areas of improvement and developing new routines or procedures.
  • Plan, assign and review work of staff to ensure that group objectives are met. Hire, train, develop and manage staff to ensure that a qualified staff exists to meet group objectives.
  • Conduct regular review of related university policies and procedures to propose modifications, if necessary.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Human Resources or a related field required. Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Education or a related field preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management and/or recruitment experience in an institution of higher learning.
    • Requires excellent communication, organization, presentation, analytical and computer/pc skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office to include: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint… and other related software.
