 Assists in developing individual, corporate, and foundation relations in the Department of Athletics. Conducts research, prepares bios, cultivates relationships with donors. Maintains detailed files and data and prepares reports. Participates in development events and meetings to promote the Department of Athletics.
The Director of Panther Club Marketing and Communications will create, organize and execute fundraising, engagement, solicitation and stewardship communications across channels. These constituent communications and correspondence will serve to expand the Panther Club membership and foster lasting relationships. The Director will manage all communications in pursuit of the Panther Club’s goals, working closely with the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving and Donor Experience.

Additional details about Required Licensure/Certification Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality and timely work collaboratively. Ability to identify and determine problems and implement solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common desktop/web applications. Experience with Adobe products and Paciolan preferred. Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations related to intercollegiate athletics and fundraising.

Essential Functions Plan and implement all Panther Club membership communications. Execute marketing plan to drive impact and growth of the Panther Club. Strategize with the Director of Annual Giving on communication and marketing techniques to increase membership, retention of existing membership, and determine solicitation calendar to effectively renew and grow the Panther Club. Coordinate processes to design, develop, and produce publications, brochures, mailings, letters, stewardship materials, and scripts related to the mission of the Panther Club using appropriate communication channels and technologies. Manage the execution of all Panther Club electronic communications including monthly newsletter, event invitations, and news updates via Paciolan email software Eloqua. Serve as social media manager for Panther Club accounts, creating new content to drive growth, thank donors, demonstrate impact, advertise events and more.
Physical Effort Must be able to sit for prolonged period regularly. Prolonged standing occasionally required for game day and events.
