The University of Illinois Hospital & Clinics (UI Health) is seeking an Director of Operations to join our team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals.  The Director of Operations, Pathology Laboratories, under the direction of the Senior Director, Hospital Pathology Laboratory Services, serves as a key member of the senior leadership team with oversight of the Pathology/Laboratory Service operations to include; Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Phlebotomy, Histocompatibility, Specimen Processing, Molecular Pathology, Biochemical Genetics, Point of Care Testing, and Reference Laboratories. The Director provides leadership, implements operations enhancements consistent with vision and goals of the institution and the Chair of Pathology Department. Works collaboratively with the Pathology/Laboratory leadership and key stakeholders’ system-wide. Provides institutional representation when necessary and in the absence of the Senior Director. Promotes an environment of caring through equity, diversity and inclusion.
