Director of Online Learning

The Director of Online Learning at ACUHO-I is responsible for the development, assessment, maintenance, and day-to-day management of the Association’s online course portfolio and the Reslife.net suite of training products. In this capacity, the Director identifies gaps in content for the field through ongoing needs-assessment and course authors and external partners to fill those gaps with their expertise. Leading the entirety of these programs, the Director also serves as the face of online learning, exhibiting, pursuing leads, and conducting demos for potential customers. The individual in this role also represents the Association with the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification and its approval body, establishing processes for identifying CE-eligible content, communicating with potential participants, and creating opportunities to prepare aspiring certificants for examination.

Additional Information:

Required: A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and 6 years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in adult education instruction, preferably in an association environment with curriculum design, coaching, and facilitation expertise.

Desired: A master’s degree in education or a related field and 8-12 years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in adult education instruction, preferably in an association environment with curriculum design, coaching, and facilitation expertise. Experience working with ACUHO-I online learning.

This position will be located at our Columbus, OH headquarters, which is just east of the Ohio State’s main campus, with the opportunity for a hybrid or fully virtual work arrangement.
