Primary Purpose: The Director, Internal Communications directs, creates and implements communication strategies to advance our purpose, mission, vision and values – specifically focused on our internal audiences.  This position interacts frequently with leaders and executives and regularly handles sensitive content.  S/he coordinates communication messages and timing across disciplines and sometimes across multiple organizations.

Qualifications

 

Skills and Knowledge

Education: BA or BS in communications, marketing, business or relevant field, minimum required.

Years of Experience: 5 Years equivalent experience, minimum required.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Seeking professional with 5 years of solid communication experience backed by strong ability to initiate, plan, execute, and close out assigned deliverables while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate is great communicator and listener, has strong client relations experience, is self-motivated, proactive, demonstrates leadership, and has the ability to work independently as well as with a team. This person also has a high level of problem solving skills, is highly organized and has a passion for idea conception and innovative solutions, delivery of project and follow-up. Additional skills include demonstrated project leader, content creator and collaborator.
