Director of Human Resources
The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is seeking a talented individual to serve as the Director of Human Resources. The Director will be responsible for the administration and oversight of all human resources and payroll services of the Foundation. Areas of oversight include staffing and employment; employee and labor relations; policy administration; human resource information systems; leave administration; payroll and legal compliance.
Bachelor’s degree and seven years of progressive human resources experience required. Understanding of HR theories and principles and knowledge of labor laws are required. Ability to work independently with confidential/sensitive information, strong customer service attitude, and strong computer skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required. Ability to use good judgment when applying policies in order to achieve desirable outcomes for various situations is required. PHR/SPHR or equivalent certification preferred.
