Director of Compliance

The Director of Compliance at Delaware State University will oversee and manage all aspects of compliance within the D1 Athletics program. This includes ensuring adherence to NCAA regulations, fostering a culture of ethical conduct, and implementing policies to maintain program integrity.

The following are the functions essential to performing this job: 
1. Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs to uphold NCAA and university regulations. 
2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance issues promptly. 
3. Collaborate with coaching staff, administrators, and student-athletes to educate on and enforce compliance standards. 
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

5. Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software 
6. In-depth knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. 
7. Ability to interpret and apply complex policies and procedures.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in NCAA compliance or related field.

The criteria for evaluation in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.  Successful implementation and management of compliance programs.
2. Timely resolution of compliance issues.
3. Effective communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
