South Dakota Mines is accepting applications for the Director of Budget Services. This position will be the primary financial planner and budget director for the campus, providing financial guidance and information to the VP of Finance & Administration and SD Mines’ executive leadership. Specific duties for this position include, but are not limited to, gathering and analyzing revenue and budget data, communicating with executive leadership and campus units regarding budget implementation, performing analysis and utilizing tools to evaluate new projects and initiatives, and leading and formulating annual budget planning.
A bachelor’s degree is required in an area of business, science, or related field. A minimum of one to three years of university-level budget management experience in a higher education setting is preferred. Experience in higher education financial planning is preferred.
