Job Details | DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING Are you passionate about advancing education and fostering a culture of philanthropy? Coastal Carolina University is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of Annual Giving. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Advancement & Alumni Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our institution’s fundraising efforts. Responsibilities: · Oversee all aspects of the university’s annual giving initiatives, including email and direct mail solicitations, faculty and staff giving, Giving Teal Tuesday (CCU’s 24-hour day of giving), alumni membership drives, and various other appeals. · Lead a team of two annual giving professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of fundraising programs. · Spearhead the development, design, execution, and assessment of a comprehensive year-round fundraising program. · Collaborate closely with diverse university departments to define fundraising objectives, devise strategic approaches, and design initiatives aligned with both industry standards and the strategic plan of Coastal Carolina University. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and related experience are required. Experience in marketing/communication, alumni relations, annual fund, or similar constituent outreach programs and experience using Raiser’s Edge/NXT fundraising software are preferred. Knowledge and experience using digital marketing products such as fundraising website platforms, texting platforms, Facebook Ads, Adobe Creative, Illustrator, etc. and familiarity with fundraising/marketing techniques are also preferred. Salary range: $45,530.00 (minimum) – $84,241.00 (maximum). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Must have the ability to work evening hours and some weekends at fundraising events. Some travel is required. |
