THIS POSITION IS LOCATED ON THE DUBLIN, OH CAMPUS.
The Director of Admissions and Recruitment independently develops, executes, and oversees all operational and technical functions of recruitment and admissions for the Division of Physician Assistant Practice in Dublin. Duties include the management of marketing (website and print) and recruitment efforts, execution of annual admissions cycles, and facilitation of matriculation compliance and processes. Manages the continuous evaluation of all processes regarding recruitment, admissions, and matriculation; and serves as a subject matter expert in the aforementioned areas providing strategies that promote program growth and meet the standards of the ARC-PA. Serves as a records manager and student services liaison for the PA Program bridging the gaps between university departments located in Athens (Bursar, Financial Aid, Registrar's, Counseling and Psychological Services, the Graduate College, and other departments needed) and Dublin for students, faculty and staff. This position serves as the Chairperson of the Admissions Committee, a member of the Student Progress Committee, and other PA program committees as assigned, and serves on the College of Health Sciences and Professions Diversity and Inclusion Committee. This position reports to the Director of the PA Program.
Specific Responsibilities:

1.
Admissions and Matriculation Responsibilities – Serves as the primary point of contact for all PA program applicants and admitted students up to matriculation:

Admissions responsibilities:

· Independently manages and maintains CASPA (Centralized Application System for PA applicants) on behalf of the PA program.
· Strategically develops, evaluates, and oversees admission standards, policies, and documents.
· Implements quality assurance measures and monitors admissions standards to ensure consistent compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards.
· Solely communicate with hundreds of applicants throughout the CASPA application process as the primary point of contact.
· Independently performs the selective, holistic review of hundreds of CASPA applications annually.
· Individually scores and ranks hundreds of CASPA applications using the program's internal system of evaluation.
· Sends hundreds of interview invitations to select candidates who meet admission standards.
· Plans and coordinates interview day format and scheduling (Fall semester) for the program's Admissions Committee and interview candidates.
· Manages Student Ambassadors, Alumni and guest participation for interviews.
· Compiles applicants' admissions data and CASPA applications for Admissions Committee review.
· Facilitates post-interview discussions with the Admissions Committee for interview candidate selection decisions.
· Administers admissions decisions to candidates.
· Develops and maintains admission decisions database throughout the admission selection purposes.
· Collects, analyzes, and reports admissions data on an ongoing basis.
· Provides leadership to the program in the continuous evaluation of admissions policies, processes, and procedures.
Matriculation responsibilities:
· Coordinates admission compliance standards for candidates who have been offered admission.
· Creates and maintains matriculation compliance forms and documents.
. Uploads students to myRecordTracker (MRT) and Certiphi for health records maintenance, immunization compliance, and ongoing monitoring by the program.
· Deploys background checks and drug screens before matriculation and monitors compliance.
· Distributes and collects program and university compliance forms.
· Disseminates information regarding financial aid, health insurance, and technology requirements to new students.
· Facilitates course registrations for new students.
· Orders Student IDs from OIT for new students.
· Supports the program's Student Ambassadors to assign student mentors and order program polo shirts.
· Collaborates with Graduate College to deploy The Graduate College Orientation, Library and Plagiarism orientation modules to new students.
. Plans and facilitates new student orientation with various departments at the University, Faculty, Staff, and existing students.

Recruitment Responsibilities – Serves as the primary point of contact for all PA program inquiries:
· Independently develops and executes recruitment strategies for the PA program.
· Solely monitors multiple email accounts for PA inquiries.
· Develops and maintains databases related to PA program contacts and inquiries.
· Communicates with internal and external constituencies regarding marketing materials and website maintenance.
· Arranges, manages, and leads on campus and off campus visits/events for potential applicants, pre-health advisors and student groups.
· Collaborates with CHSP and other colleges in maintaining and developing Pre-PA Tracks at the university.
· Attends off-campus and virtual recruitment fairs.
· Distributes PA program information to pre-health advisors, groups, and clubs at universities around the country.
· Advises applicants regarding all aspects of the admissions process (prerequisite coursework, CASPA application and matriculation) as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
· Performs transcript evaluations for potential applicants.
· Maintains course guides for various Universities and makes decisions on prerequisite coursework to ensure candidates meet requirements.
· Collects, analyzes, and reports recruitment data on an ongoing basis.
· Provides leadership to the program in the continuous evaluation of recruitment policies, processes and procedures.
· Records Manager, Student Services Liaison and Service:
Records Manager:
· Develops, organizes and maintains an electronic Student Records Management Plan for the PA program and frequently monitors for compliance.
· Monitors student records for FERPA compliance.
· Assists Program Director in evaluating DARS reports for graduation requirements.
· Extracts and reports students' academic progress (grades) to SPC each semester.
· Maintains and monitors the PA program's website to ensure ARC-PA compliance.
· Deploys program surveys that are used for ARC-PA data collection and analysis as requested by the Program Director.
· Maintains PA Program's social media accounts.
Student Services Liaison:
· Serves as the PA program's point of contact for faculty, staff and students with various departments on the Athens Campus (Bursar, Financial Aid, Registrar's, Graduate College, Psychological and Counseling Services).
· Schedules classes for the PA Program on a semester basis with the Registrar's Office.
· Facilitates course registrations for PA program by cohort on a semester basis.
· Distributes information regarding financial aid and health insurance on a semester basis to active cohorts.

Service:
· Facilitates the selection process of Student Ambassadors and manages their involvement in recruitment, admissions, and matriculation processes.
· Chair of the PA Program's Admissions committee (organizes and conducts meetings). Provides annual report at program retreat.
· Member of the PA Program's Student Progress Committee (SPC).
· Member of the PA Program's Alumni Committee.
· Member of the PA Program's Accreditation Committee
· Member of the PA Program's Ceremony Committee
. Member of the College of Health Sciences and Professions Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Minimum Qualifications:


Master's degree
Minimum of 3 years' related work in higher education

Preferred Qualifications:


Previous experience in admissions and recruitment
