Summary: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Global Compensation to lead our compensation program with primary markets in US, Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of the HR leadership team, the Director will work to align leaders on a compensation philosophy and develop policies and practices to support a global compensation Center of Excellence. This role requires a keen understanding of various factors impacting compensation, including global market trends, regulatory changes, compensation and pay system capabilities and organizational needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Design and Maintenance of Compensation programs: Develop, execute, and optimize compensation programs, policies, and processes to align with company objectives, resulting in increased employee satisfaction and retention.
- Drive strategic initiatives: to enhance integration of compensation programs globally, fostering consistency and efficiency across regions and is responsible for making improvements to the already existing processes.
- Expertise in Industry Trends: Apply advanced knowledge of industry trends and best practices to secure global market intelligence, pricing tools, and regulatory insights, ensuring competitiveness in compensation strategy and practices.
- Expert Guidance and Communication: Apply current and professional standards along with company specific data to develop compensation philosophy and innovative yet practical global processes.
- Collaborate for Solutions: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to identify evolving compensation needs and drive innovative solutions that support employee engagement and business performance.
- Change Agent: Define change and support strategy for global integration of compensation programs, fostering organizational agility and adaptability.
- Enhance Transparency: Drive transparency and accountability through structured global annual compensation processes, enhancing organizational trust and confidence.
- Compliance: Establish audit and reporting structures that support and demonstrate adherence to complex regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions, ensuring fair and equitable pay practices.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Establish and oversee comprehensive analysis of data and perform regular audits that ensure integrity of compensation data.
- Optimize HR System: Partner with HRIS staff to optimize Workday system functionality – supporting compliance, accuracy, transparency, and increased data-driven decision-making.

- Advanced level Excel skills.
- Demonstrated strengths in time management, urgency, and issue resolution.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in compensation field in HR or consulting
- 4+ years of managerial experience required.
- Experience leading or participating as a key contributor on a Global Compensation Team.
- Experience in Global Compensation operating model (preferably US, Australia, and New Zealand.)
- Experience leading or working on cross-functional project management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
- Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) preferred.
