Job Description

Through partnership with  the Executive Associate Athletic Director & CFO, this position would be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of complex resource allocation models; produces annual budget reporting that provides transparency into sources of revenues and expenses leads in the development of key budget and long-range planning assumptions; leads in the preparation of financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership; direct oversight of Trademark & Licensing including budget preparation, financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting; develops and presents reporting that provides clear insight into financial trends and emerging issues across the university and our industry; works with unit leadership to provide reports and fact based analysis on results, trends and financial projections; tracks current and future funding, and debt service commitments. Performs approvals as a Cost Center Manager in Workday ERP System. Will play a key role in the preparation of worksheets and schedules as it pertains to the annual audit, and the subsequent production of reports for the Auditor of State, the NCAA, and the Department of Education. Participates in the month end close process. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in accounting or finance

Required Qualifications

6 years’ experience in a financial setting; experience with large scale integrated financial systems; proficient in Microsoft Office. Able to work well with others in a team environment. Strong communications and analytical skills. Experience working in a college and/or athletics environment desired. Experience with PeopleSoft and Oracle Budgeting software desired.
