Position Summary

The position plays a key role in achieving the goals of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA) in the management and implementation of the administrative, financial and operational business activities of the Academic Affairs (AA) business unit. Units include but are not limited to Academic Services, Graduate Studies, Postdoctoral Education, Interprofessional Education, Assessment and Accreditation, Institutional Research, Compliance Office, High School Alliance, Faculty Development, Interprofessional Academy of Educators, eLearning, iEXCEL, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Office of Equity, and of Community Engagement and the Summer Health Professions Education Program. The Administrator has responsibility for the conduct of all financial management and human resources activities, including planning, organizing, directing, monitoring administrative, human resource, and fiscal operations. the role involves direct supervision of Academic Affairs staff. The Administrator will serve as a member of Academic Leadership team and contribute to key decision making both long and short term.
