Job Summary | The Center for Science & Mathematics Education (CSME) empowers students from all backgrounds to achieve success in science and math. The Education Director will oversee CSME programming and communications, support CSME staff, and be the primary liaison with the College of Science Dean’s office. This work will involve overseeing operations and strategic planning of CSME functions in collaboration with a CSME Advisory Board, as well as faculty and staff in the College of Science. The Education Director will report to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. Experience in math and science education and/or educational leadership is strongly preferred. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related area, or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Eight years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communications skills required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. |
